    I can't pop my snakes...

So I've watched many youtube videos and I can't seem to do it, I was sold an albino pair, 1.0 albino and 0.1 het but trying to make sure the male was a male and fem was a fem I'm having no luck popping them !! I have a 1.0 spider that was producing plugs when I bought him, the guy showed me, so knowing this I used him to try and learn on but although I get sperm plugs, I get no hemipenes!! He's a very aggressive snake so it's not easy to handle him let alone pop him. I guess I'm just expressing my frustration with the whole situation lol but I'm totally open to any tips or advice anyone can give.
Oh and btw, I wouldn't exactly be mad if the 1.0 albino turned out to be a 0.1 albino...as long as the other is het as I only paid 300 for both.

The best way to learn is having someone show you in person. Whereabouts are you? Maybe there's a nearby forum member who can help you out.

Have you tried posting on a local reptile website or on the classifieds?

I found someone who showed me how to pop and he showed me all his reptiles off the website for our city.

It is tough, I'll admit. Sometimes I can extract hemipenes and sometimes I can't. I'd like to learn how to probe.

I'm just scared to do this, but I need to learn. I'm afraid of hurting them. I have had someone knowledgeable probe mine, for me. That was a great video btw. So if its female nothing comes out, right?

Honestly, I find probing to be a lot easier. Especially with older snakes that have much more muscle control to prevent hemipenes from popping out. On baby snakes (at least with boas) I prefer the method where you pull gently on the tail with your thumb pressing on the bottom, to feel for the "speed bump" of hemipenes.
