Ever seen one this dark before?

This is the corn snake I got a while back and with each shed he gets much darker.

He is really dark! Maybe he's not even a corn? it's kinda hard to tell in those pics. That mouse looks way to big...imo.

I'm fairly confident he is either a corn or corn cross. He is wild caught, has reddish saddles and an arrow on his head.

Also, the mouse might of been slightly on the large side but it was roughly 16% of body weight of my snake. The pics make it look much larger than it is.

That's pretty dark. The snake looks skinny, but could be the pics. Better pics would also help, but I'd breed it. I've often wondered when a hypermelanistic corn would show up, maybe you hit the jackpot!

That would be really awesome if he were a new morph! I'll try to get some better pics in a day or two.

Tame? What's that lol! He is very feisty, he strikes at me almost every time I handle him. Only once has it been open mouthed though. He has never struck at me through the tub and has calmed down a lot since I got him. Hopefully with a little more time and work he'll calm down some more. I don't mind too much though, at least I know he's a tough one.
