Very nice. Not only does it appear you have mad skills but I would imagine some pretty nice equipment as well. Is that Poplar?

Is there a way to ruin heat/power to that? It's an amazing piece of furniture.

The cage and matching table are made of knotty Alder and the coffee table is cypress from a 100+ yr old barn

Flex wat can be mounted underneath or I can allow for mounting in into the floor. Heat cable could be ran throught out the cage itself too and is safer than flex wat

but as a coffee table it is intended to be mid-room. wouldn't there be unsightly power cords tracking through the room to a wall outlet? im very interested in one of these as i have thought about owning this kind of table before but could not figure out how to supply power without running cords across my carpet.

Unless floor receptacles were pre-installed then yes cords would be visible. This customer is using it for crested geckos so lights and heat were not an issue. It was really just to show what we could do. The same concept could be applied to end tables which would be close to a wall with receptacles.
