I second the idea of adding an Inquiry forum to the business section. While it wouldn't be anywhere as extensive as BOI, it would be very useful for our small but growing community. Besides, if you do want to look up something specific at BOI, don't you have to wade through tons of stuff? Ours would have the benefit of being smaller and easier to navigate, I think.

I went and visited BOI and I must say this format is WAY more accessible - but I'm new to all of this (snake husbandry, forum posting, etc.)

There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it.

    SOURCE: Randy Remington aka Snakemorphs.com
    LOCATION: CO
    PURCHASED: 3.0 m hatchlings
    DELIVERY: pick up
VALUE: very high - $40, and all have some type of morph gene in their lineage, from the 50% albino, 25% snow I got in December, to the 2 25% het pieds I got last summer
    LINK: http://www.snakemorphs.com
COMMENTS: Randy has always been a pleasure to do business with, and loves to talk about snakes anytime. He even gave me a tour of his collection in his home last time I bought a hatchling from him. Great guy to work with, and I may do a breeding loan with him this year.

SOURCE: Scales & Tails Reptile Store
    LOCATION: Northglenn, CO
    PURCHASED: 0.1 normal adult BP
    DELIVERY: Pickup
VALUE: OK - $60 for an extremely skinny adult female with a bad RI
    NO LINK
COMMENTS: Scales & Tails is a typical business. They are in it to make money. I have dealt with the manager, Rich, on numerous occasions, and he has always been helpful and friendly. The BP I bought was a trade that someone brought in, which explains her being underweight, but the heat wasn't on in the BP cage in the store, which resulted in an RI. I have done quite a bit of business there, and will continue to do so.

"I think it might be helpful for everyone to remember that the purpose of a forum like this is to EXCHANGE IDEAS, not dictate what is right or wrong or good or bad. If you disagree with what someone else is suggesting, you can say so without being argumentative or completely slamming the guy (or girl)." - Smynx
