Holy moly these girls are so scary! But they are pretty!

I'm not going to lie, my heart was pounding like crazy during this photo shoot and I was armed with two snake hooks and a pillow case! Man are they MEAN!!! I'm hoping it's just because they are really hungry and my snake room doubles as my rat room. They have both already eaten two f/t rats since they've been with me.

(these are the two normal girls I picked up for $20)

This big girl was literally lunging at me with her mouth wide open!

The smaller lighter girl, she was 1,100 grams, they both have really awesome white sides

Her pretty picture, I love this girl's color

The bigger girl, she was 1,500 grams

Her pretty picture, the best I could do!

I recently picked up 2 awesome looking big normal girls that are the same way. They actually hit the front of the tub striking at my hand when I reach for their feeding card. Bright side is, they eat great

Lol I guess so! And I thought my largest female was mean! That last picture didn't turn out too well, but that's the best I could do! I was being really quick and dodging her teeth between pictures!

Oh man, I don't know what is with them! Were yours underweight? These two were definitely underweight, but not super skinny. I'm hoping they will settle down once they put some weight on. The big girl will hit the side of the tub, the lighter female isn't so bad, but she's right there waiting for you to open the tub so you can strike!

Not really thin, but not being fed properly anymore for sure. They are great eaters. Always have their heads at the front of the tub...

    Pretty girls!!

I have noticed a trend with breeding size or near breeding size females. This time of year, whether they have bred or not, they all turn into feeding machines! They seem to instinctively want to pack on weight in anticipation of the upcoming breeding season.

All five of my big girls, three of which laid two who didn't, are really pounding down the food now.

Too weird, but I will never complain about having good eaters!

That is true. So hopefully it's a mixture of them being really hungry and breeding season coming up! I really do hope they calm down!!!
