The Story of an African Fat Tail and a Curious Dog

Me- Okay gecko look good for the camera. "Sure thing." *wink*

"Ahh, just going to take a quick nap on this nice carpet."

"What the hell, back up dog you're poppin' my bubble!!!"

"I was just trying to get a good sniff."

Disclaimer: No animals were harmed in the making of this thread, except for maybe the dogs feelings because of the gecko's personal space issues.

Man, cute pics, but I would be terrified that the dog would just decide to chomp the gecko in a much larger scale version of what happens when a gecko chomps an insect!
Mountain bikes are for slow people, and reptiles are far better pets than cats & dogs!

He is an incredibly calm dog. He usually sits/sleeps in my reptile room while I'm cleaning tubs, changing water, feeding, all that good stuff. I honestly didn't know that he was even coming over to smell my Caramel female until he showed up in my view finder of the camera. I don't usually risk it at all, but I snapped a couple of quick pictures and had him move back. He sat back down where he was originally and the photo session ended. I don't think he would ever try to bite one but like you said there is always the off chance which is why this doesn't usually happen. I uploaded the pictures afterward and laughed pretty hard so I had to post them.
