Pics of candled eggs a month or so in?

I candled the eggs I have the other day and it occurred to me I don't really know what I'm looking for. I have 22 days until day 55 and the veins and arteries all look good. Everything seem to be the same color on the inside. How much of an embryo should I see? And what else should I be looking for? I'm at work right now so I can't post my eggs candled but I was wondering I anyone else has any pics I am compare to. Again I'm 33 days in. Incubation temp has been constantly at 89. Humidity is at 80% and none of the eggs are wrinkled or dimpled in any way yet. They seem all good to me but again, I'm not sure what to look for in term of candling. Thanks.

only thing you should be concerned with at this point is that there isn't a mold issue and you can see good veins. your humidity sounds good. just a waiting game. good luck

Cool. Ya everything seems to be going along just fine. I just didn't want to be over confident then have disappointment. Which I know can still happen but I feel good about it.

We are 28 days in so right behind you. So far they look like the day they were layed. When we candled on Saturday, we caught movement in every egg. Have you seen movement in yours as well?

I get scared and don't leave the light on for too long. I don't want to heat them up too much with the flash light.

If you use one of those small LED flashlights with the multiple bulbs, they throw a ton of light and no heat. Here's an Amazon link to show what I am talking about.

Here in Gerogia we have stores called Batteries Plus and they would have these or something very similar. Even a hardware or autoparts store may have them.

I know. Isn't it cool? The trick now is to keep yourself from wanting to do it all the time. Good luck with that.

Re: Pics of candled eggs a month or so in?

remember about the last 14 days the eggs require much more oxygen. if your egg box is seal, I recommend having a very small air hole. the size of the egg box also plays apart of this. losing a little humidity at this point will be ok. good luck and keep us posted, don
