Saliz is a very cool snake. Very curious. Whenever I am in my critter working doing this or that, he'll poke his head out our come out all the way and just watch me. He doesn't run & hide when I reach in after him. Just lets me pick him up and actually seems to "enjoy" the attention.
Will take his food from my hand gently. He won't strike at it to get it. Just reach up and take it gently and start to eat. I encourage the coil on this one by tugging on the tail of the mouse while he had a bite on it. He kept wrapping himself around it thinking it was alive.
Anyway, Saliz is an awesome California Kingsnake. Just had to brag.
