    hello All

Hi Casey, welcome to the forums! Oooh, good luck with those eggs, you have to let us know how it goes. Have you witnessed ovulation yet? I'm dying over here, I've got the same situation over here, and I haven't seen any ovulation but both girls are in shed. Let's hope, huh? Good luck, and just FYI, we LOVE PICTURES!

Casey, welcome to the site. From what I've read, it doesn't seem that anyone has established how long ball pythons can retain sperm, so there's really no telling for sure. Good luck, though!

As for Ball Python retaining sperm I am unsure, however, I did have a Spotted Python lay fertile eggs a year after being bred. I bred her in 1999 to a male, she laid a nice fertile clutch of eggs. Over the summer I lost the male, but decided to keep the female in hopes of getting another male. Well I never did, but the follwoing year the female laid another great clutch of fertile eggs  . So I would think a Ball Python is also capable of this.
