Big Papa Bear
new rescues: 3 corns..
Glad they are in great hands now.....At least now they will have a chance to survive. The person or persons that had these corns should be court ordered to never be allowed to own a snake or other critter ever again.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....
....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.

Man, that sucks. I hate to see animals in such bad condition. I hope you can get them back to full health, Rusty! Keep us updated on their progress.

How can you let any animal suffer like that? I'm just glad that those animals are in a place where they will hopefully be nursed back to health. Good Luck Rusty!!!

That's so sad. They obviously didn't get that way overnight. I hope you'll be able to save them, Rusty.

Those poor things! Their luck has definitely turned for the better, though! I'm sending happy little, full-tummy, healthy, snakey thoughts their way!

Thanks all for the great support, all three have eaten, slowly for the skinny male "snow". But blood work came back good, just very malnourished, It will take sometime, but we have high hopes for them.
As for starved snakes, yes it takes a very long time for someone to strave a snake to death. Beleive it or not, two years ago I rescued a poor albino burmese python female, she was approximately 9 feet long. She only weighed 5.46 lbs!!!!! She died that evening, but I will never forget her. beautiful animal.
It is very sad, and I can never comprehend it. sadly their is no animal cruelty issue for me to thouroughly pursue unless one of the animals passes, then a very small slap on the wrist will happen. Theuir have been cases where I was able to get media attention involved, and then (and only then) something was done about it. It can be very stressfull dealing with the legality issues of it all. But in the end we hope for the best for the animals.
Thanks for letting me babble

Sweet jeebus that's awful! Hats off to anyone who works to help those neglegted herps recuperate, cutting a share of your time money and heart for their well-being. Best wishes with all your charges, Rusty.
