    OT: cheap light tent

I found a cheap light tent on Amazon, I think this is even cheaper than making one.

the tent is two small. May work ok for babies. But then you will have to buy something else big enough to take pictures of the adults. The lights in the second kit are crap. Dont waste your money on them. They are that cheap for a reason. Its better to buy better quality stuff in the beginning. It may be more expensive now. But down the road. You will not have had to replace it 10 times.

If your going to go cheap, at least go this way. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PRO-NEW-PHOT...item2a201bd181 with this kit you can change the bulbs. The bulbs will put out more light. And again you can change the bulbs out for daylight balanced bulbs. They will be a lot better than the little kit you showed in your 2nd link.

Or even something like this http://www.amazon.com/XPRO-Studio-Ph...rds=light+tent

I recently changed my setup for taking pictures of snakes. Ill try and set it up this weekend and get you a few pictures. Explain what is going on and how much it cost.

Here are a few pictures taken with my setup, the way I have it setup now. Pictures taken a few days ago.

These were taken with a single light. So there is a little shadow. But not to bad.

I ordered the 16" without the lights, it will work for the size my snakes are now.

Huh, that looks pretty neat, it is small I'm not sure if the 24 inch would be big enough for adults. I really would like a nice light tent one of these days so I don't have to edit the background out by hand!

Stephanie if you are looking for something bigger here is a good one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-32...ht_3677wt_1270

I have the smaller version since I prefer to take pictures of my adults outdoor and I love it.

Those are the lights I am using http://www.ebay.com/itm/390377370983...84.m1423.l2649
