    mouse colony size?

How many females would be necessary to produce enough to feed my snakes 7 mice per week?

7 female mice For rats a good rule of thumb is one female per snake, so I will assume it would be the same for mice...

What size are your snakes? That will be a large part of figuring out how many you'd need to breed/have on hand to feed 7 per week. Do your snakes all take the same size prey item or would you need to keep a few back to growout before you fed them (the mice, that is, not the snakes!)?
