Hey anyone (Marcus)
Have any?
My husband really loves them but doesn't have any at the moment.
I met a guy who just bred some locally and wondering for pointers on what to look for before buying some for my hubbies V. day present.
I know the basics, but have never purchased one before.
Any pointers?
Thanks
Rusty

Ghost Corn Pics!
Hi Rusty,
I had a Vietnamese Centipede for a while. I ended up finding another home for it though. The Tulsa Zoo. Mine was an escape artist like you wouldn't believe. It's venom was far to toxic to take anymore chances on it getting out. I just couldn't chance it with my child, and my dogs. It got out one time (and I wasn't even aware that it was out) and charged my 75 pound dog. And I mean charged it. They have no fear. None whatsoever. They will reach up into the air for anything that is passing overhead. A bird, a hand, whatever.
They are voracious and brutal predators. They are quite impressive as a species though. Just be careful.

Definatly understood,
Winslow has housed some beauties, like (probably not their actually names a "blue leg", a haitian giant, a Feather something and a few others.
The feather one used to really creep me out. I definatly have respect for them as a species, but some actually look scary to me,,hehe. I have been reading up alot on the haitian giants just so I am better prepared if Winslow is not feeling well, But he is very good with them.
He will be so surprised, ecspcially since he used to tease me about my fears..lol
Thanks
Rusty
