Venomous snakes in the United States

Was channel surfing this morning and stopped on Swamp Wars on Animal Planet for a few minutes. The show said that venomous snakes are found in 47 or the 50 United States. They didn't say what the three states were that did not contain venomous snakes. Which states would those be? I'll buy Alaska right off the bat and probably Hawaii as long as you don't count sea snakes. All the other states are in the lower 48 and are touching. Is there a state with some kind of an special 'snake-keeper-outter' fence on the boarder or is that just a bad stat?

    Only one state - Alaska.

You have to count the sea snakes in Hawaii. They are rare, but they've been recorded.
