Did the 4th affect your snakes??

I know they can't hear, but all of my snakes were up cruising their tubs big time. It was so much that it struck me as odd, to go in and see everybody, (except my bee who is deep in shed) out, and not just sitting. One of my moodier girls had done a number on her tub so went to get her out and clean it, and got struck at. Even my boa seemed busier than normal in his enclosure. It's not really even close to feed day or anything either. The neighborhood puts on quite the fireworks show, it started about 5:00 and ended sometime around 12:30 I think. There was tons of noise and big booms. Could that possibly have got them going? Or was it just a coincidence that they were all like that on the 4th? Anybody else's act odd?

I think there's a good chance they were bothered by the vibrations they felt.

No but me and my dog were. The neighbors were shooting a home made cannon. Not the best way to wake up for a combat vet.

That sucks. ^^^ Somebody here must have had something like that, every so often there was the loudest ground/wall shaking BOOM. One of my kitties was totally freaked out too, my lazy dog just slept, he is never bothered.
