Lemon insane head spot after shed!!!! Confused by it any insight

So my lemon blast shed yesterday and all of a sudden he has this giant white head spot like he's balding but the scales are still perfect now just white instead of golden. This litterally happened overnight from just one shed. What do you all think? I think it's awesome as long as its not a health issue etc

    Before (most recent I have)

Your right, as long as that isn't a health issue, that is pretty cool looking.

You sure he didn't have stuck shed that pulled off the underlying layers? If you're sure the scales are okay & it isn't an open wound, then that's pretty awesome!

Has he been rubbing his head on anything in his enclosure? It reminds me of what I refer to as "tub rub", when I've had some rub on something and remove the color portion of the scale.

My pastel did the same thing, just some extra scales that pulled off.

I believe rabernet is correct he's interesting he is always trying to get out of his tub rubbing his head and nose against front of his tub. Thank you all.
