    Pinkish heat pits?

I recently got a juvenile ball python and i have noticed that the insides of his heat pits are slightly pink. Is this normal? What is the normal colour for the inside of ball python heat pits?

Younger snakes should have pinkish heat pits, so it's perfectly normal. Although, without seeing a picture, I could be wrong.

Yep, pink is normal. Unless it's neon, glowing pink, that might be a bit concerning, but 'regular' pink or pastel pink is pretty normal.
