    Window Farming!

So I have been checking out this DIY for window farming for a couple months now and finally decided to give it a try. I made this whole system in one day. But it literally took me the whole day... About 12 hours to gather all the materials, sit in traffic, and go home and construct this thing. Not to mention crochet the little cozies to go with it.

I planted from top to bottom: Strawberries, Sweet Basil, Sweet Marjoram, Cucumbers

Detailed instructions for this DIY can be found here: http://our.windowfarms.org/
But you will probably have to register with their wordpress to get the full set of directions and parts list.

Overall, this was a really fun project and I can't wait to make a few more columns!

That's really cool! My room is loaded with plants, mostly tropical though, unless you count the kiwis that just sprouted (been waiting about a month for that!!)

Maybe I should try strawberries indoors because the bunnies always eat them if they're grown outside.

This is a neat idea. For the first time just last week we were able to pick some of the strawberries that ive been trying to grow since i was like 10. All bc last summer i was finally fed up with the chipmunks and their shenanigans so i took natural selection into my own hands lol.

Lol at the animals eating the strawberries! I have a few growing right now, and since they are inside I get first dibs!
