    New baby royal python.. does he look dull?

    just got my first new baby royal python does his colour look dull to you?

    He could be going into shed if he feels rough and looks dull.
    Snakes should have a nice shine and gleam to them as well as a smooth feeling.

    im not sure if he feels rough this is my first snake and compared to everyone elses he looks really dull lol

    He may just be darker in color. He looks really good in the pic! If he seems dull, has a pinkish belly, and almost a silver sheen in the light, he's probably about to shed.

    I think he looks nice.
    Snakes vary in color in general. But they also change colors and dull out throughout a shed cycle. I suggest just waiting until he sheds to see his true colors, which is also the time they look the best.

    Most photos you see here are of freshly shed animals.

    By the looks of it, I would say the shed cycle is either just about to start or it's just about to finish. They both look similar .

    i think it might be starting ive only had him for 2 days
