    Kori....Very beautiful cat's. Bring's back many memories.

Emroul.....Anything is possible. I have a friend up here in Illinois that has 2 mountain lions. And around here they are very cheap to feed because of all the deer that get hit around here. Whenever a deer is hit and the person that hit it does not want it, my friends are immediately called by the police dispatcher to tell them they have another donation of meat for thier kitties. Some years they actually have to refuse the donation because of no freezer space.

How big do they get? And do they eat a lot? Cats are second only to herps for me. Instead of a dog I can get a big kitty!

Not really sure yet how big they will get as we aren't sure what they are mixed with, we think they are part maine coon and are guessing they will be about 35-55 #'s or so..............

They eat me out of house and home! I know they eat more than the regular cat we have but with 10 cats overall I just keep feeding!

From what I've heard, most of the "wild" cats really do not make very good pets, even if hybridized with a domestic cat. It's pretty much a lot like the wolf hybrids that were very popular for a while. You not only tend to get the size and the look of the wild stock in the mix, you also tend to get some of the wild temperament, which often isn't very conducive to getting along well with humans.

Just think of it... not only do you get a cat that claws the furniture, but it also has no qualms about kicking your butt when you try to get after it for clawing the furniture...

Ive always wanted a cougar too. There were some people in town that had one once-i was told it was like a dog,it would play wrestle in the yard with them sometimes, but the neighbours were scared it might eat a kid so they were forced to move or get rid of it.Im told they moved.

Back where we used to live in California, there was a guy who had a number of "rescued" cougars. He had a ranch where he kept them, and they were known in the local area as "Big John's Cats". What disgusted most of us, though, was the idiots that, either from fear or from some twisted sense of "macho", had to take shots at the cats in their enclosures.

Near Riverside, California, when I was a little kid, there was a place that kept exotic animals for use in the movies. The same kind of idiots used to shoot them from the roadway. I guess they had some warped idea of being a "big game hunter" because they could shoot a trained African or Asian animal as it went about its daily life in a fenced enclosure.

    Twits.
