    what to do?

First times posting but reading for a while.
ive been breeding mice for about a year now and ive had no issues at all. Its been on a very small scale 1.1 or sometimes 1.2. I got a new colony going a few months back and with a new male and female had the first litter about 6 weeks ago. Her first litter she had 12 and no problems, until about 3 weeks ago I noticed some of them didn't seem to be growing and some were way bigger then others. The smaller ones started dying. This week I am down to 5 and these 5 are losing their hair!?? Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Never had this problem before so I don't know what to do. I don't think I want to feed them to my snakes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If I had to take a guess it would be that some of the young are not getting enough nutrition and the bigger ones push them out of the way.

    Just a guess though.
