My bp's are in the process of shedding. (Their first shed since I got them) I have been trying to keep the humidity up to help them along in the process. They also have a container of water in there that they can fit their entire body into. I have been waiting for them to start shedding and when I got home last night I was happy to see that they had finally started. One of the snakes was still shedding his body, but his head looked completely clean. The other one though looks as though she is finished shedding, but her head still looks all cloudy like she needs to shed there. I remember reading that I needed to make sure that the snakes eyes were clear right? Shouldn’t her head have been the first thing to have shed?
So my question is should I be worried about her yet? Is there something I can do to help her?

Mine just started his first shed last night. He started head first. Still hasn't shed the rest though.

ldyhawyk, that is so cool that your bp's shed together. like i said in doctor's post, leave them be for a while. good humidity, good shed. if in fact they do go more than a day (i'd say...), give them a little help with a good soak.

If worse comes to worse you can use a Qtip dipped in water and just rub the dead skin off his eye just be really careful!!!
