    Cost for ASF rats?

What do you guys usually pay for live asf rats that you buy from shows (males and females)?

I'm doing a reptile show this weekend and I have no idea what a good price for asf rats.

Also plain white live feeder mice as well. They're smalls I'd say.

    Thanks!

I paid $25 for a 1:3 colony of ASFs. But ASFs are hard to come by where I live.

I paid 2 bucks a piece for my ASF I think, there were subadults and adults available for that price.

Varies pretty widely. Up at the Pittsburgh show, I used to pay anywhere from a buck each to five each depending on who they were from.

It really depends upon your location. I've found them around here for $1.50 each.

$25 each?? Which state? *starts gassing up the truck*

I think the going rate around here is usually from $2-5 each for sub-adults.

It really depends on where you are located. I get adults here for $3 each but they can go for a lot more.

Do you happen to live in Orlando? because there is a Repticon show here tomorrow. I actually breed them. I found a local guy who had a few colonies and I paid $4.00 each. I just breed them for my picky eaters. I try to handle them to keep them tame. They would be considered pet quality. I hate mean rats and those ones get selectively fed off first if they are trouble makers They should have someone who sells them at the show if you are from here. Don't pay more than $4.00 each and get the pied colored ones (white and gray) they tend to be the nicest from my experience. good luck!
