Aggressive behavior?
I have 0.2 mice that currently are residing with each other. Today was everyone's cleaning day, so I thought i would see what would happen if I introduced my gals to my new boy when I cleaned their cages.
The male is fairly bigger than my girls. He's quite a fat ass. After smelling them, he would push his face up under their rumps? When he did it to one of my gals, she squealed but just laid there.
They boy is back in his cage until I get some answers. Was that normal behavior? I would let them stay together but I'm concerned they may fight while I'm sleeping and dont want to try again till I'll be able to monitor their behaviors at length

That is mating behavior. Very normal.

Awesome! I wasn't too sure and was googling but it wasn't much help.

So I'm thinking it was a sign of aggression. I had her in with him and he'd clean her and bully her. Once it turned into a fight I removed her.
-sigh-
