Thought that I would share some pics of Zeus's cage and one of my favorite pics of him.

He is in a 20 Gallon long with a lockable slidding screen top (which stays locked at all times )

Where is my food? I am hungry. This is what he does when he is ready to eat.

LOL...I love those stands. I have three myself for my 55, 50 and 29 gallon fish tanks. Now I'm waiting for my order to come for my 3 snake tanks.

Great lookin' setup and bp for sure ...just out of my own curiousity, does the humidity stay up in that setup with a screen top? (I see you have two water bowls, that probably helps.)

During the winter the humidiity stays at around 50 - 60% without the light on, but when I turn the heat light on the humidity goes down. So, when I turn the light on put a towel over the screen to retain the water vapor. During the spring and summer the humidity is a lot better. I need to give him a different substrate then what I have in there. It is a little to dry for him right now. I am going to put some reptile bark. It holds the humidity better than the aspen shavings. But for the most part I love the look of the glass cage and screen lid.

Yeah, I tried aspen bedding for about two weeks before I tossed it. It totally sucks for humidity (even in a rubbermaid). Now I'm back to paper towels in the racks, and bark in the "display" enclosures. (Which aren't really displays, I just call them that since they aren't in a rack)

    mouth injury

Here is a complete picture of the set up. I have an Albino Corn snake (Junior) on top. He has repti bark for substrate. And Zeus is on the bottom.
