    Day 61... Hurry up now

So it's day 61 at 88.5 degrees. I've double checked my eggs and there's movement pretty much in each one. Still no heads poking out though which is stressing me out lol. I just figured I'd see what's the longest people have had to wait. I've looked through the history and can't see any info so thought I'd ask

A lot of people cut on day 54-55 buy what I've read. It all depends on you. But I'm sure a little help doesn't hurt the babies.

I cut on day 58 I'm just waiting for them to emerge now... So far no heads popping out but wondered what the longest people have had to wait.

Mine have all been out by day 60 so far, but I haven't had that many babies. I'm glad you cut them, I was worried you hadn't yet. Are the heads still in the clear sack? If they are I would pull their head out of the sack, it should be broke by now, and they should be breathing. Almost all of mine have broke out of the sack on their own and after a day or two of breathing they are out of the egg.

I cut mine on day 53, today is day 56 and the first little head is poking out. If you already cut, I'd say just give em some time and they pop out soon.

Not all of them are out of the sack but a couple are.. Any advice on cutting the sac? It looks a bit delicate and very sloppy, I'm afraid il cut something wrong.

Many say that at this point it wouldn't even matter if you hit a blood vein, but I try to avoid it anyways so it doesn't get messy. I used rounded tipped scissors when I cut and that way when opening the sack I felt less risk of poking the little one.

So I just cut through the gooey sack with scissors? A lot of the babies are upside down in the eggs but around half are the right way up but on a closer luck ALL are surrounded by the sac with the blood vessels in

Yes, it shouldn't take much "cutting" but rather just breaking that seal. A few of mine in the egg seem to be upside down too, but as far as I know this is normal. They move around and settle in the egg however they please until they come crawling out.
