Black Widow pics???

I found a spider that looks like closest to a red widow in my box of crickets.Im not sure where the crickets came from but it was the U.S. somewhere.I got a bad pic of it from the side so far.
Its got the same pattern as a red widow,only its white instead of red.Even has 2 white spots on its underside.I figured it might be immature still and will get its coloring in another molt or 2.Any ideas if its what i think it is?(ill try to post a pic or link) http://www.geocities.com/pirranha25/foundcricketbox.jpg

I find black widows all the time around here.....I kept one for a while and fed it extra crickets I had layin around for my Beardie.

Huh, well my husband and I agree that from that pic the body style looks right but the whitish spots are throwing us a bit off. I do know that red widows are only native to the palm areas in Florida. Maybe if you can figure out where your crix came from. None the less try not to make that spider mad..lol

black widows are real common in the rocky's in BC
i used to find them when i went to visit my uncle in kaslo

I agree with rusty Its body type looks like black widow but the markins say other wise it would be interesting to know what kinda spider it is
at any rate don't let it bite you

ya,im not taking any chances just in case.
Im no expert in spiders so anyone have any ideas what it might be?
ill try to get a better pic of it from the top soon,it doesnt like to pose in a photographic sort of way for me,and im not big on poking it to get it to sit the way i want it to.

I found out what it is.
its a Steatoda triangulosa. I looked it up on google and found a pic that looks exactly like a better pic i took of mine.
