Thank you. There is a 1/8" chase running between the back panel and each of the shelvs. I will run a 4' long x 11" wide flexwatt strip the entire height of the rack and tape it to the back panel. When the tubs are pushed in, they will get radiant heat from the flexwatt. I figured a 6qt tub is two small to be sitting over a 3" wide piece of flexwatt. It wouldnt leave much of a temp gradient.

Looks great!... how many pieces of 1/2" expanded pvc boards did you use? you bought the 4'x8' sheet right? I am actually looking at making the exact same thing. I just bought an industrial table saw and waiting on a friend to help me hook up the 220v 3phase motor this weekend. I can buy the 1/2"sheets for $90. how much did you pay for it?

The design I came up with fits the entire rack onto one PVC sheet. I get it for $119 here, so it seems like you're getting a pretty good deal.

Thanks, you did a great job. it looks like we use the same Sterilite 6qt tubs too I get mine from Target. I know you mentioned that you would be able to share the design. That would be great. do you get your flexwatt from retilebasics.com? From what I have searched they have the cheapest flexwatt brand at $2.10/ft for 3". if you get it somewhere cheaper let me know.

Can you post the plans for this? I'm thinking of building some hatchling racks from PVC but I'll need way more than 16!
