    Every time the paramedics have to come over (about once a month due to a certain illness) they always freak the "new guy" out. They just wink at me and I loadly explain that 4 of the 5 black widows got loose so watch out..lol
    Cracks them up every time.
    I definately have a fondness for arachnids, tarantulas in particular, my husband loves scorpions and we are expanding into mantids and some other insects.

    That assassin bug is sweet! I have found a different species of them here in KY before.....it was pretty darn big, but a brownish color. I really like mantids, they are awesome bugs.

    Question....Just how long does an assasin bug live? I hve never heard of anyone keeping one of those as pets. I hate to say it Rusty, but if I saw that thing crawling accross my floor.....STOMP!!!!!!!!!!

    Now I wonder how the pink toe got it's name (scratching chin).........Cool Arachnid's they are.
