Does he have paperwork to prove they are true hets for the morphs he said?
Off hand I'm not sure of a good price to pay, but I'd check kingsnake classifieds and fauna classifieds and see how much they're going for on there.

Agreed. Unless a boa was purchased from a breeder with an excellent reputation and that breeder produced that animal himself, some kind of proof would be necessary in order to represent the animal as a true het.
In order to fairly represent the animal, until you get some kind of documented proof of its lineage, it must be labeled as a normal BCI. 80-100 is about right for a normal that size.
