chamelions are really hard to keep alive and healthy, and due to stress issues, they can not be held very often, more of look and not touch pets.

Chameleons are definately not a beginner lizard. Their requirements are more then what a n00b lizard keeper can handle. And as pat said, holding them in a no-no. If you want a small, mellow lizard, go for a leopard gecko. I know quite a bit about them and can help you out, if needed.

As others have said- chameleons are really hard to keep, and they are more of a look at me pet.

But- I have an african fat tailed gecko, she is easy to care for, moves slow and such..a leo would be just as nice though, Jeff knows alot about geckos, talk to Jeff, it was cause of Jeff's great info I got my gecko. And they are SOOO CUTE!!!! If you go to my pic gallery, there you can see pics of my AFT Gecko.

Heh, everyone who hasn't owned a chameleon thinks this. You should see them when you surprise them! They can move!

What about a leapard gecko? I've had a couple of those and they are slow and easy. lol. They don't get big... well heck, everyone knows what a leapard gecko is. Just another suggestion. Good luck in your lizard hunt.

The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....

....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.
