How are you heating it?
I would put another hide in there as well. they really should have 2 identical hides (one on hot side, one on cool side)

The log on the right side is actually is insulated and contains a heat lamp, the ceramic ones. Its the 100W and there is a thermostat on the back side to regulate the temp. I'll work on making her another hiding spot. Thanks for the advice.

I made that hiding spot using a dryer vent frame and then used that Gap foam stuff then painted it. Ill get another dryer vent and make another one for her.

No way at all that she could get in? As you have already seen they are crafty little buggers.
It is a very interesting idea, I have never seen anything like this before.

Yes both ends are screened off. and completely sealed. Its a pain in the butt to change the bulb, lot of work goes into that part but worth it.
