Hi, I looked in your gallery. Looks fairly standard wild type to me, but I love the genes he's got. He's got a nice black back and interesting pattern..kinda graniteish. Don't expect it to guarantee other black back babies, but he might be able to help. I personally love black back lessers, so I like to keep an eye out for snakes like that.

He's lovely anyway, but no guaranteed morph.

Thats a normal. It has a decent 'BlackBack' pattern which can randomly show up in normals..... but only breeding will prove if her 'blackback' is genetic or not.

It looks like a nice black backed normal. some will prove to be genetic, so you never know, if anything, it could have influence the babies.

If its the snake in your gallery I'd say its a blackback. Not a morph. The blackback might not even be genetic but it looks awesome

hi chis, yeah im thinking about breeding him with one of my cinnys or my unkown female just to see if he is genetic or i might just get rid of him. i haven't decided yet. i really dont have enough females to dinker with him but thanks for the help. by the way does anyone have pics of older yellow bellies, i can only find younger ones and do they tend to get a yellowish tint to there belly as they get older? every pic i seen the bellies were white. is there normals that tend to yellow out thier belllies also?

What would a good combo be to prove if a female of mine is a yellow belly? I dont have a male yb, so I was wondering a good combo to def initely prove her out without breeding her to a normal.
