    Re: Black Pewters or Fireflies?

Firefly while more common has alot more demand, and they are much nicer in my humble opinion.

Id probably go the firefly route. You can get super pastels and BEL's eventually which are two morphs i also really like.

Personally I think Black pewter, I really like pewters and I feel like the fire morph is kind of bland when used in other morphs as well as on its own. This maybe because I am new to ball pythons and can't quite id a fire as well. But that is just my personal opinion.]

Edit: Well I just looked around at some fire stuff, and I like it a little more then I thought haha, but I would still most likely go with black pewter.

    Re: Black Pewters or Fireflies?

Ok so i unlike most people, i am going with the pewter. The market price of the pewters are lower than the fire fly, Its just because they are more available to the market. To me the cinnamon/black pastel is a key to any collection. There are a bunch of highlighter morphs but not much that can copy what the cinny does. The urban camo ball is amazing if you haven't seen it, Super Pewter, i wouldn't worry about the market because the price is going to go down year to year so in the end they will be in the same place.

I would vote Firefly. In my opinion they are in higher demand right now. Look at some of the vanilla cream stuff. But the black cream is pretty wicked too. I personally like the brighter stuff but its all preference. By the time yours grows up something else will be hot, so just go with what you like.

black pewters are sweet looking animals but it really depends on your future breeding plans. I would like to have the black pewter on both a personal level and from a business perspective because there is more things I want to do with the black pastel gene than i want to do with the fire.

Fireflies! Bright colors that have to be seen in person to have a real appreciation for the gene.

    Firefly!

The cleaning and brightening ability of the Fire morph is the key ingredient to some powerhouse combos in my opinion.

I like the Black Pastel Pewters, but the firefly takes the win when I put these two head to head. Just my 2 cents...

My almost 1 yr old firefly.

Black Pewters for me! Simply because you can get Black Pewter Blasts and Silver Streaks, depending on what direction you go in. But i love both of those combos. Either one would be killer though, it really comes down to what YOU want to see when you open those tubs.
