    First BP, First feeding!

I've had my girl Nala for one week now, and today was the first time I've fed her--with great success, thanks to all the wonderful advice I found on this forum--thanks to all!!She's five months old, and her breeder told me she's eating F/T large adult mice, so last night I took one out of the fridge to defrost and today I set it up under a heat lamp clamped to a small folding table near her cage, and I heated it to 90 degrees. I held my breath as I held it in her cage with the feeding tongs. I wasn't expecting how fast she would strike--so I dropped it, and it was the funniest thing because she looked at me for a minute as if to say WTF?? Then she grabbed it and down it went! It was just fascinating watching her eat. Oh, what a happy day!
