Hey my girlfriend has had this baby cornsnake that has not eaten for her for the passed couple months of its posession.she's tried it all, blacking out the sides, upping the temps a little, braining the pinky, making it do the zombie dance for the snake, left it in an opaque box with just the pinky undisturbed, given it a tighter fitting hide spot, not handled it so it can acclimate to its new surroundings.its starting to get skinny and the next things that I see left that we don't like are feeding it a live pinky or force feeding.I offered to take over its care if it came down to such things.but before that I think there could be two other factors contributing to its reluctance to chow down. There is a fan next to the stand she keeps her corns and she has cats.could the vibrations be irritating the snake? Could the scents of the cats also be a factor?she has three corns, the other two never turn down a meal.
