Which tub to use?

Hey everyone

Which one do you like better. Just nit picking here. The bottom one slides out. I took cork board and lined the sides and back. The top one is pretty basic.

Do not use the bottom one, a ball python will escape from it in a matter of minutes (I know this from personal experience) they are also very difficult to safely heat.

The top tub is the way to go.

there are many ways to secure the lids, overall a BP is a 100x less likely to escape from the top tub than the bottom tub.

Binder clips and luggage straps work really well to hold lids on. There is also the brick method. stick a brick on all 4 corners and I promis your BP won't be able to get out.

I only use tubs with small snakes. But my quarantine is also a tub I use a strap around the centre and edges. The snakes can easily reach the top and can apply an amazing amount of pressure if it feels flimsy it is not enough.
