confused
so i am realy confused. i never herd of this before, and i dont know what to do.
ive herd of snakes breaking OUT of their tanks but never INTO a tank.
i took my snake out of my big tank and put her in a smaller tank by herself and she ended up back in my 200 gallon with everyone else. this has happened three times and every time i fix everything but now she ruined my lid for the smaller tank.
ideas please.

What are you making the lids out of? and how are you securing the lids?
It sound like you have multiple snakes in one cage. this is a very bad idea and can end tragically.
What are the temperatures/humidity in both cages, and what are you using to heat them?

Re: confused
so her tank has a locking wire lid. and no she is the only snake. the others... look up "little zoo"
so yes siss is back in "the peitree dish". but it is by her choice.
and everything is what it says for bps.

If I remember this is the snake that was living with the anoles, frogs and fish yes? I remember that thread.
I'm glad you put her into her own tank but it's obviously not secure enough. And unless the other tank was left open I'm not too sure how she would have lifted the screen top.
Clips need to be on all four sides of her new enclosure, as well as clips on the other enclosure for their safety. Cage clips are like 2$ a package so their worth their weight in gold.

What type of wire is it? is it like a mesh or something like chicken wire?
How does it lock? is your BP pushing through the wire or lifting the entire lid?

It sounds like you need to actually buy the screen wire tops made for tanks. Whatever and however you are making the tops just isn't working and the clips will only work with the Petstore screen tops. Do you have a picture of the tops or can you explain how your making them? How they're fitting on the tanks?

To me it sounds like she is making a case for her bp to go live with the other animals like they are all friends.

So, you expect me to believe that on three sperate occasions, your BP escaped from her enclosure and then broke into her old 200 gallon tank? Three times? And never went anywhere else like a warm spot under the fridge during any of these three successful escapes?
Sounds completely plausible to me
