Not really anything too big,i just wondered for the ppl feeding f/t stuff-do the snakes try to constrict much before eating or do they realize that the prey is already dead when they see it not moving much(or at all )and just swallow it directly?

so they constrict and hold it for a few minutes,or just wrap right off the bat then let go in a few seconds?

They hold it there for a few minutes, some longer than others, just like if they were killing it.

huh so what tells them to let go?obviously not the heart beat or muscle spasms.

Basically it is all in the instict of constriction. How do we know when it is safe for us to swallow our food after chewing it? We just sense it.
Hope I helped.
