Take some more pictures, see if they will let you take it out and hold it in some better light.

Also, sounds like the manager is a moron. I could probably find out who the vendor is for that store... what city is the store in?

Really??? It looks nothing like a lesser. And if you look at that fist pic and say it looks nothing like a mojave I don't know what to tell you, maybe look up more Mojave's. That is a Light mojave, actually a lot similar to mine from Royal constrictor designs.

I'll be the odd one out here, and say I'm not convinced it's not just a light normal. The glass reflections may be wrecking havoc with the colors.

If it's a mojave, or even a lesser, I think it's a pretty bad example of either morph, at least in the light that it is currently presented in. Not saying it isn't possible it could be a mojave, but if it is, the only reason to buy that snake is for the $50 pricetag, and not because of it's stunning perfection as an example of that morph.

Mojave Pastel Fancy "normal" if it was a female for $50 I would get it. It does look Mojaveish to me most likely a male though.

I still don't buy into the whole "poor example" of a morph thing. So much of the value of morphs is personal opinion. And personal opinion varies a lot. What you may consider a excellent example of a morph may look like complete garbage to another guy, and vice versa. To me it looks like a good little pick up other then the fact it's from a big box store.

I completely agree, so much of this hobby is subjective and opinion. And in my opinion, it does not look much like a mojave. It has similarities, but it is very far removed from what I consider to be a good looking mojave. Especially in the second picture, where it looks even less like a mojave.

I am not saying it isn't a nice looking snake in it's own right, but I don't buy that it is a mojave. For $50, it makes little difference what it is, if the snake by itself is a good looking, healthy animal. I would still like to see better/more pictures in different light and angles/distances, as it is silly to argue opinion over the only two pictures that make the snake look like two different animals in each.

True, I would be interested in seeing more pictures now since there has been so much back and forth on what it is.
