    Never introduced my snake

    Here is Snuggles

I thought his eyecaps both came off last shed, but it sure doesn't look like it now. Maybe he's just damaged his current cap since he is close to shedding time? hmmm.

Anyway, thought I'd introduce him. He's a.. dirty pastel, i guess. roughly two years old.

Here's one from when he was younger, and not close to shed so a little brighter.

    I don't think he's a brownie pastel .

If his eyes appear as if they have cracks in them, his humidity is definitely too low. Spray the enclosure down every day until you see that go away. If it helps, then you need to find a way for your enclosure to hold humidity better unless you want to constantly mist the cage .

Yeah, it's been pretty dry lately. I made him a moist hide but he doesn't seem too big on it...

I think I'll switch him back to the coconut stuff (eco earth?) asap, especially with him shedding soon. That seemed to keep things humid a lot better, but I was worried about it being too humid... maybe I'll put it on one side, paper on the other.

Is the 26c the cool side or warm side?
