Boas and balls rules of engagement

What are some rules that we follow for balls, that do not apply for boas? And vice versa

    "Don't feed while in shed."

I dunno if it's actually true or if people follow it, but I was told not to feed my Ball while she was shedding. My boa however, wants her food on the dot every 14 days, shed or not. And there doesn't seem to really be any side-effects... But that's just my experience.

You cant stretch out a male boa to so many females.
I usually leave the male boa in there longer then I normally would for balls.

Many Balls will eat in all stages of shed. Depends on the animal.

Boas Like cages they can stretch out, and will use it.

Temps can be lower a few for boas.

Most boas Dont require hides- I never used them for RTB

Must be Fed Slower than balls or are prone to power feeding and regurgitations

x2 I have some balls that will eat no matter what time of day and what stage of shedding or non-shedding they're in. I have some that won't eat if they're even close to a shed.

My boas however...will eat any time any day. I think if I threw the rat in still frozen they'd eat it!

My boas won't eat the f/t rats, unless they are heated up to 100F. My BP will eat if I just leave it in his enclosure.

"Let your BP settle in for at least a week before you handle it and feed it."

I handled all my boas gently from day one and fed on day 2. Every one of them ate with gusto and never stressed at handling.
