No my friend he is 100% hog. If you are familiar with Paul Mitchell he one of the few that I've seen breeding 100% atleast in my area. So I take a minor offense your comment. I'm no child I know what I have and I know what I buy.

Hey PolishPython I'm sure Mike didn't mean to offend you and I agree that Paul Mitchell has pure Hogs but he does cross breed his Hogs with Colombians (hypo/hogs)

I didnt know where you got yours from but i know some breeders cross in different lines of bci or bcc. I have heard it being done before. And you just said you know hes one of the few in your area that breeds 100% pure making it obvious that crossing lines is a fairly common practice. You didnt say where you got yours from. So i just made the point yours may not be pure. I never implied you were stupid or childish, but you can take offense to whatever you please...

I like the clean ones with very little flecking, like Daybreakers.

My little HI is a hypo, so he has very few freckles, except on top of his head. But, I think it's the peppered freckles that make the HI's stand out...

It's a matter of personal preference. I like the cleaner patterns with less speckling, which is why I went with my hypo/hog. That and my guy has MUCH brighter orange colors than most pure hogs I see. Just look at a bunch of pictures and decide what you find more attractive, then look for a specific animal that fits what you like...

Here are some links to PMHerps. The first is pure hog, the second are his hypo/hog crosses...

^ They're a Colombian/Hog cross so they're not pure. I like the pure ones with the really nice peach colors and fewer speckles (like the girl I chose for myself) but as mentioned it's totally up to what you like better. The crosses will usually get larger than pure hogs.
