I dont know about boa genetics

So I have a boa and the dude who we got her from said he bought a couple of het snows online and they proved out for him. This one is one of the normals from the babies, so does that mean my baby is 66% het for snow? Or is boa genetics different. Thanks

The genetics should work the same: dominate/codom/recessive. The difference is what morphs have what style of genetics.

Yes. It would be like breeding 2 het pied BPs. The normal offspring would be 66% het for pied, or in your case 66% het for snow.

This difference with your boa is that to be het for snow, it has to be het for two different recessive genes: albino and anerythrestic. So, while yes your boa is 66% het for snow, it is actually 66% het for anery and 66% het for albino. It may carry one or both or neither of these genes.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks... I think lol

I have exPlained this once before, I'm an electrical Engineering/mechanical engineering double major in college. This means the I spend a lot of time on my computer for my classes. I do a lot of work in 3D CAD software such as Autodest Inventor Professional and Solidworks. Even with the super fast computer the I have I still find myself sitting waiting for my computer to crunch some numbers far too often. That's when BP.net comes in. I'm also a bit of an insomniac so that doesn't help either lol
