To be proactive... I have an enclosure that uses glass track and glass on the bottom of the glass is a plastic u to protect it from chips. If you could find plastic u shaped channel that would fit the bottom it may add the extra height to stay in place. Just a thought.

I am sorry that this happened to you!

How is the cage itself? If your happy with everything else and its just a glass issue then its not that bad. I know it sucks. Hopefully its just a size issue and someone screwed up on the cut. What model cage is it?

how thick is the Polycarb? 1/4"? you can go to home depot and but a strip of metal or ploycarb to sit in the tracks to raise it up.

how much of a gap is there?

the gap is very very small...just enough for it to slip through easily...other than that the cage is great...its the 3 foot pvc model

I wouldnt stress out over it too much. Just wait til you hear back. Theyll probably send you a new piece of glass for no extra charge...No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill

Agreed. Mistakes happen. It is how they handle it that matters. It is not life or death; I would relax and wait to see what they say.

Also, if the cage had to be put together, double and triple check the build.

There is a reason I only recommend Animal Plastics since RBI got out of the PVC cage business...
