    dink?

I'm kind of new to bp. I keep seeing dink of dinker here and there. O was just wondering what that was? Is it a morph or a pattern?

    Re: dink?

The term 'dinker' is what we use to refer to a ball that has an unusual color or pattern but have otherwise not been proven to be genetic yet.
Say someone has a new import hatchling, maybe there is something about it that sets it apart from looking like a regular normal, but it isn't up to size to be bred yet, many just call it their 'dinker' cause they plan to 'dink' around with its genes through future breeding and see if ts look is passed on.
But a 'dinker' is not a morph itself.

Thanks for asking that, I hadn't seen a real clear explanation that made sense to me... and thank you to Kyote, that is an excellent description.
