    Help weening a baby Sand boa Off Live mice?

    I recently aquire a baby sand boa, it currently eats live pinkies, but it would be a lot easier for me if I could ween it off and onto frozen, is there anyway to do this? thanks for your help.

    first just try it and see if it takes, if not, leave it in the cage over night. if it wont take after a few tries, maybe try pre killed or give it a live one if it starts to lose any weight

    Just as a heads up, they "can" be stubborn, one of my males was a great feeder onF/T then went on strike for 4 months, now he'll only take live. Aggravating in the least since he's my only live feeder.

    Most of the time they make the switch with no problem, and stay that way

    im in the same boat with my female baby sand boa.i tried the f/t pinkies but they just wont do.just feed her live until shes ready to upgrade to the larger mice that could pose a danger with the bites.congratulations on the new pet
