Cool My New RUB Stack Build

Hi all, i needed to get a new stack made as my last was abit and temps were not holding right..... so off to B&Q i went

    2 x 1220mm by 1440mm, 18mm thick MDF = £34.95p

i had screws and saw so only need the wood

Didn't get many pics but i will add the 1's i did get

    1st Cut

The Start of the Shell With 2 33L RUB's in to make sure of Fit

Then i fitted the Bottom and started on the front brace that had a 2" cut for each shelf to slot in (Each Shelf had the same so was like a jigsaw)

Then it was time for the bottom, i didn't want it sat on the floor so i made it so the bottom would have so legs all the way around so would work as support for the rack and keeps it of the floor, then i covered the front so it wasn't visible

2 Shelves fitted and there was a gap on the to that would fit a 9L RUB in for hatchlings so i cut the wood so it will sit back anuff to cover the RUB and will leave a front bit for putting stuff if needs be

at this point i ran out of wood so this is how it was left on sat eve

So on Sunday i went up B&Q i got 1 more sheet but this time i got them to cut me the the last 3 shelf's 3ft wide and 29inc deep

so i fitted them and pinned down the heat mat's along the back and ......

So all thats left to do is make 2 more levels on the top so i will have 9 place's for 9L RUB's and put a Brace in to hold it.

When the back go's on that will add extra support to the shelf's making it as soiled as a rock

    Anyway, hope you like
