I think last year around october, I saw a leucy priced at $100,000. My memory could be wrong though.
If you read Ralph Davis's birthing records on his blue eyed leucy he mentions in there how much he paid for a black eyed leucy and that was several years ago.

That is a nice Ivory pictured above. If you think that it is a Blackeyed Leucistic, wait until it produces young, there won't be any Fireballs in the clutch - but I would like to bet that it produces all Yellow Bellies!
Compare the heads of the one above with the blackeyed Leucy male and female produced by the Fireballs; completely different in colour. Eric Davies

If KLG says it's a leucy, it's a leucy.

Yes, but Eric is also quite the authority on black-eyed lucies, being the first - and as far as I know, the only - person in the world to actually hatch one & also prove out the fireball gene.
I guess we'll know for sure on our WC girl when eggs start hatching.

Thanks for the mention Kara. I meant no disrespect to either you or Kevin. as you should know I hold Kevin in the highest regard for his contribution to to the herp world, and the work he has had to put in developing the BP morphs.
I may well be wrong, but the pictured snake does not look like a true leucistic to me. It appears to have a 'sooty' coloration on it's head and spine, and the white is 'off white' - more of a very good Ivory.
I wish NERD the very best of luck proving this snake out - either way, it s a stunner!! Regards Eric

Thanks Eric! We're pretty excited to see what you'll have going this season with the black-eyed leucies & hets! Please keep us updated.
