    Pacman Frogs

    Anybody have any information/advice for somebody looking at pacmans (pacmen)?

    easy husbandry? how big of a set up do they require? and i don't mind not being able to hold them, watching them seems like it would be just as fun

    They're pretty easy to take care of. I'll get a pic of the setup in just a bit. It's a 10 gallon tank with Exoterra plantation soil substrate, some fake plants and a shallow water dish. There is a screen top with a heat lamp on a dimmer on one side set pretty low. I don't remember the exact temp recommendations off the top of my head, but we keep the lamp on a 12/12 cycle. The substrate needs to stay fairly moist so we mist once a day. As for feeding, when they're small, they eat a few crickets every other day.

    As for being fun to watch, meh. They are ambush predators so they just lay in one spot burrowed in the substrate waiting for prey to stumble upon them. But they're definitely cool in their own way...
